Sertifiseringer

We aim to certify our products through independent third parties whenever possible.
This allows us to reassure you as a customer that, for example, the products are made under decent working conditions, free from harmful chemicals, and with respect for animal welfare.

Below, you can read more about the certifications we currently use.

You might wonder why the list isn’t longer?
Many of our partners offer more certifications than we currently apply, but the challenge is that these often require much higher minimum order quantities than we are able to sell – and we do not wish to contribute to overproduction. In many cases, the certification costs are also so high that the product would no longer be viable.

Increasing the number of certified products is therefore a long-term effort that we are actively working towards.

Amfori BSCI
To ensure decent working conditions at the factories we produce at, we annually collect Amfori BSCI reports from them. This is a social audit conducted by a third party that checks health and safety, overtime, wages, the right to unionize, climate, and environment. All our partners have at least a C-level on the audit.

Oeko-tex 100
Several of our garments are labeled with Oeko-tex 100. Oeko-tex 100 is a label for testing textiles for harmful substances. Garments with this label do not contain allergenic dyes or carcinogenic dyes. We also guarantee that the product is tested for chlorinated phenols, phthalates, organic tin compounds, and more.

RDS (Responsible Down Standard)
At Norwegian Concept, we believe that high product quality is linked to responsible production. Therefore, we only use RDS-certified down in our products. This certification guarantees that methods such as live-plucking or force-feeding of birds are not used, and the down must be a by-product of food production. RDS sets strict requirements for humane treatment of animals.
